About Life Groups

Hilton Head Island Community is committed to fostering true spiritual growth by creating a culture of building community and empowering leaders to use the passions and skills that God has given us. We believe that our Life Groups offer such an opportunity. Through these groups, spiritual growth and discipleship take place and leaders are empowered to use the gifts which God has blessed them.

When you join a Life Group, you’ll have:

• The opportunity to connect with others via the chosen topic or demographic
• The opportunity to apply Biblical principles and topics to your life
• The opportunity to serve our community in outreach projects on the Island

The Life Group calendar begins in August/September of each year and ends in May/June of each year.  Most groups are open throughout the year to new members. The Summer months do not have organized Life Groups but many of our groups meet for social connection during that time. 

We also offer Bible Studies for men and women throughout the August-June calendar year. Bible Studies are similar to a Life Group, but have more of a instructor-student format. These instructors are approved by our Staff and these studies meet at our facility or in homes.
